THE JOURNEYS THAT CHANGE US ARE NEVER THE ONES WE PLAN

In August 2016 I boarded a plane to Uganda for my nephew Matt's wedding. 

Carrying far more than just a suitcase, and with an inate fear of flying, I found myself on an unforgettable journey. From the chaos of Kampala to the wild beauty of the African savannah, Two Weddings and a Safari is written from the heart. 

Unforgettable wedding celebrations, a clash of cultures and a hattrick of safaris were almost (but not quite) overshadowed by rediscovering my family, embracing my new and extended one and falling head over heels in love with a country and its people. Expect delayed flights, lost luggage, tree climbing lions, ex-Namibian race horses and more than one stolen camera as I recount the time of our lives spent together in Uganda.
